Devotional Reflection Based on the Incident of Peter Cutting Off Malchus's Ear: “Then one of those standing near drew his sword and struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his ear.” ( Mark 14:47, Today's Korean Version ) 1. Identifying the People Involved: The person who stood beside Jesus and drew the sword was Simon Peter . The servant of the high priest was named Malchus . “Then Simon Peter, who had a sword, drew it and struck the high priest’s servant, cutting off his right ear. The servant’s name was Malchus.” ( John 18:10 ) 2. 선한 목자되신 주님은 ... 



선한 목자되신 주님은 자기 양의 이름을 부르시고  양은 타인의 음성을 알지 못하고 오직 선한 목자되신 주님의 음성만 듣습니다(요한복음 10:3, 4).

 

예수님의 무덤 밖에 서서 울고 있었던 막달라 마리아는 뒤에 계신 부활하신 예수님을 못알아보고 동산지기로만 알고 있었다가 예수님께서 "마리아야"라고 부르시니까  때서야 분이 예수님("선생님") 알았습니다(20:11-16).
