질병이 치유를 받지 않을지라도 참 하나님을 알게 되는 하나님의 은총을 사모해야 합니다.
하나님의 회복의 은총을 받아 자신의 문둥병이 깨끗이 치유를 받은 나아만
장군은 엘리사 선지자에게 가서 “이스라엘 외에는 온 천하에 하나님이 없는 줄을 내가 이제 알겠습니다”라고 말했습니다(열왕기하 5:14-15, 현대인의 성경). 나아만이 하나님께 받은 은혜는 자기의 문둥병만 치유를 받은
것이 아니라 참 하나님을 알게 된 것입니다. 우리는 우리의 질병이 치유를 받으므로 참 하나님을 알게 될 뿐만 아니라 우리의 질병이 치유를 받지 못할지라도 참 하나님을 알게 되는
하나님의 은총을 사모해야 합니다.
