Herod wants to kill You.’ He replied, ‘Go tell that fox, “I will keep driving out demons and healing people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach My goal.” In any case, I must press on today and tomorrow and the next day—for surely no prophet can die outside Jerusalem! Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing. 오해와 잘못된 확신

유다 왕, 에돔 왕)이 자기들끼리 싸워 서로
죽인 것이 틀림없다! 자,
가서 그들의 진지를 약탈하자!' 하고 외쳤습니다. 그러나 그들이 이스라엘 진지에 이르렀을 때 이스라엘군이 달려나와
그들을 치자 모압군은 도주하였고 그래서 이스라엘군은 그들을 추격하며 모압 땅으로 들어가서 닥치는 대로 죽였습니다(22-24절, 현대인의 성경). 저는 이 말씀을 묵상할 때 흥미로웠던 점은 분명히 해가 물에
비치고 있었을 뿐인데 모압 사람들의 눈에는 그것이 마치 피처럼 보이므로 그들이 오해를 했다는 것입니다. 그리고 그 오해로 인해 모압 사람들은 잘못된 확신을 가지고
이스라엘과 유다와 에돔의 진지로 갔다는 것입니다. 하나님의 일하심이 흥미롭습니다. 지금도 하나님께서는 우리에게 영적 전쟁에서 승리를 주실 때 흥미롭게 일하신다고 생각합니다.
