오해와 잘못된 확신 엘리사 선지자는 이스라엘 왕 요람에게 ‘ 하나님께서 모압 사람도 당신의 손에 넘겨주실 것입니다 ’ 라고 말씀했는데 ( 열왕기하 3:18) 그 방법이 모압 사람들에게는 해가 물에 비치고 있었던 것이 마치 피처럼 보이므로 그들은 “ 이것이 피가 아니냐 ! 저 왕들 ( 이스라엘 왕 , 유다 왕 , 에돔 왕 ) 이 자기들끼리 싸워 서로 죽인 것이 틀림없다 ! 자 , 가서 그들의 진지를 약탈하자 !' 하고 외쳤습니다 . 그러나 그들이 이스라엘 진지에 이르렀을 때 이스라엘군이 달려나와 그들을 치자 모압군은 도주하였고 그래서 이스라엘군은 그들을 추격하며 모압 땅으로 들어가서 닥치는 대로 죽였습니다 (22-24 절 , 현대인의 성경 ). 저는 이 말씀을 묵상할 때 흥미로웠던 점은 분명히 해가 물에 비치고 있었을 뿐인데 모압 사람들의 눈에는 그것이 마치 피처럼 보이므로 그들이 오해를 했다는 것입니다 . 그리고 그 오해로 인해 모압 사람들은 잘못된 확신을 가지고 이스라엘과 유다와 에돔의 진지로 갔다는 것입니다 . 하나님의 일하심이 흥미롭습니다 . 지금도 하나님께서는 우리에게 영적 전쟁에서 승리를 주실 때 흥미롭게 일하신다고 생각합니다 .
