Identifying the People Involved: The person who stood beside Jesus and drew the sword was Simon Peter . 우리에게 고통을 주며 원한을 품고 우리를 미워하는 우리의 원수들은 우리를 위협하므로 우리를 두렵게 하고 우리에게 압력을 넣어서 우리로 하여금 시달리게 만듭니다.  그 때 우리는 마음으로 심히 괴로워하고 심지어 죽음의 공포에 사로잡히기까지 합니다.  그 때 우리는 비둘기처럼 날개가 있다면 멀리 날아가 피난처인 광야에서 인생의 폭풍과 광풍을 피해 편히 쉬며 안식을 누리길 간절히 기원할 것입니다(참고: 시편 55:3-8, 현대인의 성경).
