자유를 남용하지 말아야 합니다. 우리와 하나님과의 관계에서는 전혀 영향을 미치지 않는 일이라서 그 일을 행함에 있어서 자유가 있다할지라도 그 자유가 믿음이 약한 형제 , 자매들에게   걸려 넘어지게 하는 장애물이 되지 않도록 조심해야 합니다 ( 고린도전서 8:8-9, 현대인의 성경 ).
