우리가 세상 사람들처럼 따라서 살고자 하나님께 기도로 요구하는 것은 ... 이스라엘 모든 장로들이 사무엘에게 와서 이방인 나라들처럼 " 우리에게도 왕을 세워 우리를 다스리게 하십시오 " 라고 요구했을 때 사무엘은 기쁘게 여기지 않았고 , 하나님께서는 그들이 하나님을 버려 더 이상 하나님께서 그들의 왕이 되는 것을 원치 않고 있다고 말씀하셨습니다 ( 사무엘상 8:5-7, 현대인의 성경 ). 우리가 세상 사람들처럼 따라서 살고자 하나님께 기도로 요구하는 것은 하나님을 버려 더 이상 하나님께서 우리의 왕 ( 주님 ) 이 되시는 것을 원치 않은 행위로서 하나님을 기쁘시게 하는 것이 결코 아닙니다 !
