The Inseparable Love of God (1) [ Romans 8:38-39 ] Why can nothing separate us from the love of God? 1. Because God’s love is eternal. Romans 8:29a says: “For those whom He foreknew…” The word “foreknew” refers to before eternity began —before the creation of heaven and earth . The phrase “those whom He foreknew” does not simply mean knowing about someone intellectually, but rather loving them. In other words, it refers to “those whom God loved from eternity past.” Amos 3:2a says: “You only have I known of all the families of the earth.” If “known” merely meant intellectual knowledge, that would imply that God only knew Israel and did not know the other nations—which cannot be true, because the all-knowing God lacks knowledge of nothing. Therefore, “I have known you only” means “I have loved you only.” God loved Israel among all the nations of the earth. 주님께서 계속해서 우리 교회의 찬양 사역자들을 통해 찬양의 기적을 이루시길 기원합니다! 성가대원들은 예스라히야의 지휘 아래 힘차게 찬송하였고 그 날 이스라엘 백성들은 많은 제물로 제사를 드리고 즐거워하였습니다 . 이것은 하나님이 그들에게 큰 기쁨을 주셨기 때문이었습니다 . 여자들과 아이들까지 다 함께 어울려 즐거워하였으므로 그들이 기뻐서 외치는 소리가 멀리까지 들렸습니다 ( 느헤미야 12:42-43, 현대인의 성경). 저는 이 말씀을 묵상할 때 우리 승리 성가대원들이 박덕영 전도사님의 지휘 아래 힘차게 찬송하고 우리 온 교인들이 우리 자신을 하나님께 거룩한 산 제사로 드리고 즐거워하는 모습을 상상해 봅니다 . 우리 온 교우 식구들이 하나님이 주시는 큰 기쁨으로 말미암아 다 함께 사랑으로 어울려 즐거워하며 기뻐서 감사의 찬양의 큰 소리가 찬양 동영상을 통해서라도 수많은 이들에게 들려지길 기원합니다 . 주님께서 계속해서 우리 교회의 찬양 사역자들을 통해 찬양의 기적을 이루실 뿐만 아니라 우리 모든 찬양 동역자들의 삶과 가정 안에서도 또한 가정을 통해서도 찬양의 기적을 이루시길 기원합니다 .
