유익한 고난 혹은 무익한 고난?  만일 우리가 여러 가지 고난을 통해 하나님의 말씀과 순종을 배우면 고난 당한 것이 우리에게 유익이지만 , 아무리 크고 많은 여러 가지 고난을 당한다 할지라도 하나님의 말씀에 순종하는 것을 배우지 못했다면 우리가 당한 그 고난들은 우리에게 무익할 뿐입니다 ( 히브리서 5:8; 참고 : 시편 119:67, 71).
