A. What Is Biblical Mission? “Biblical mission means more than simply going overseas to plant churches or spread civilization. It means the church participating in the ‘mission of God (Missio Dei)’ and seeking the restoration of God’s rule and glory throughout the whole earth. Mission is not a program that begins with human enthusiasm; rather, it is the heart of God that runs throughout the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, and is a fundamental reason for the church’s existence. Let me clearly summarize five essential principles of true mission as presented in Scripture. 🌍 1. The Mission of God (Missio Dei) The subject and initiator of mission is not human beings but God. In order to save fallen humanity, God first comes to us, sends His Son, and sends the Holy Spirit. He is the “missionary God” who sends. 불평하지 말라 ! “ 악을 행하는 자들 때문에 불평하지 말며 불의를 행하는 자들을 시기하지 말지어다 … 여호와 앞에 잠잠하고 참고 기다리라 자기 길이 형통하며 악한 꾀를 이루는 자 때문에 불평하지 말지어다 분을 그치고 노를 버리며 불평하지 말라 오히려 악을 만들 뿐이라 ” ( 시편 37 편 1, 7, 8 절 ). 어제 금요 새벽기도회 때 시편 33 편 11 절 말씀 중심으로 “ 내 계획대로 안될지라도 ” 란 제목 아래 말씀 묵상을 다시하면서 이런 생각이 들었습니다 : ‘ 내 마음에 불만족이 있는 이유는 하나님을 전적으로 신뢰하지 않아서이다 .’ 제 계획대로 안되고 또 안될 때에 왜 나는 좌절하고 분노하며 또한 낙심하는가 생각해 볼 때 그 이유는 제가 믿고 의지한다는 하나님을 전적으로 의뢰하고 있지 않고 있기 때문이라는 생각이 들었습니다 . 그러한 생각을 가지고 있다가 어제 저녁에 오늘 새벽기도회 때 읽은 말씀인 시편 37 편에서 41 편까지 읽기 시작하다가 오늘 본문 37 편 1 절과 7 절과 8 절에서 ‘ 불평하지 말며 ’(1 절 ), ‘ 불평하지 말지어다 ’(7 절 ), ‘ 불평하지 말라 ’(8 절 ) 는 문구가 제 관심을 끌었습니다 . 왜 시편 기자 다윗은 이렇게 세 번이나 ‘ 불평하지 말라 ’ 고 자기 영혼에 선포하면서 하나님께 기도하였는가 묵상하게 되었습니다 . 그런 후 오늘 토요 새벽기도회 때 시편 37 편 1-11 절 말씀 중심으로 하나님의 말씀을 선포한 후 이렇...
