A. What Is Biblical Mission? “Biblical mission means more than simply going overseas to plant churches or spread civilization. It means the church participating in the ‘mission of God (Missio Dei)’ and seeking the restoration of God’s rule and glory throughout the whole earth. Mission is not a program that begins with human enthusiasm; rather, it is the heart of God that runs throughout the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, and is a fundamental reason for the church’s existence. 우리의 죄가 크고 많으므로 ... 우리 상처는 고칠 수 없고 우리 부상은 치료할 수 없을 만큼 중상입니다 . 우리를 도와줄 사람이 없고 우리 상처를 낫게 할 약이 없으며 우리를 고칠 희망이 없습니다 . 우리를 사랑하는 사람들이 다 우리를 잊고 우리를 찾지 않습니다 . 하나님께서 우리를 원수처럼 상하게 하고 잔인할 정도로 우리를 가혹하게 벌하시는 것은 우리의 죄가 크고 우리의 허물이 많기 때문입니다 . 우리의 죄가 크고 많으므로 하나님께서 우리에게 이런 벌을 내리셨습니다 ( 참고 : 예레미야 30:12-15, 현대인의 성경 ). 예수 그리스도께서 우리의 죄 때문에 찔림을 당하시고 상처를 입으셨으니 그 분이 징계를 받으심으로 우리가 평화를 누리게 되었고 그분이 채찍을 맞으심으로 우리가 고침을 받았습니다 ( 이사야 53:5, 현대인의 성경 ).
