성전 건축보다 성전의 정결 작업이 우선시돼야 합니다. 요시야 왕은 유다 땅과 성전의 정결 작업을 마치고 난 후 유다 왕들이 폐허가 되도록 내버려 둔 성전 건물들을 성전에 들어온 헌금으로 수리하게 했습니다 ( 역대하 34:8-11, 현대인의 성경 ). 저는 이 말씀을 묵상할 때 성전 건축보다 성전의 정결 작업이 우선시돼야 한다는 교훈을 받습니다 . 여기서 성전의 정결 작업에 있어서 제일 중요한 것은 하나님의 성전이 우리 ( 고린도전서 3:16) 가 제일 먼저 예수님의 보배로운 피로 정결 작업이 돼야 한다는 것입니다 ( 참고 : 히브리서 9:22).
