For some of us, it’s been a while. In our hard-working, highly productive culture, we can sometimes feel like exhausted swimmers swept downstream in a fast-moving river, fighting to keep our heads above water, gasping for air. We get up early and stay up late. We never waste a minute. Our schedule is full, running here, running there, running late, running to catch up, running on empty, until we collapse in utter exhaustion. Underneath the satisfaction of being hard-working, hard-playing people is a weariness that’s desperate for the pace to relent so we can rest and recharge. Deep down, we’re dying to slow down and take a break. We keep telling ours...
진정한 사귐(교제)에는 기쁨이 충만합니다. 만일 우리가 성부 하나님과 성자 예수님과의 진정한 교제를 하고 있다면 ( 요일 1:3) 우리 안에는 성령 하나님이 주시는 기쁨이 충만할 것입니다 (4 절 ). 성부 하나님과 성자 예수님과의 사귐에는 영원한 생명이 있고 (5:11-13; 롬 6:23) 그 영원한 생명을 누리고 있는 우리 그리스도인들은 예수님의 이중 계명인 " 네 마음을 다하고 목숨을 다하고 뜻을 다하여 주 너의 하나님을 사랑하라 " 는 말씀과 " 네 이웃을 네 자신 같이 사랑하라 " 는 말씀에 순종하므로 ( 마 22:37, 39) 성령 하나님이 주시는 신적인 기쁨이 충만할 것입니다 ( 요 15:9-12; 요일 1:4).
