For some of us, it’s been a while. In our hard-working, highly productive culture, we can sometimes feel like exhausted swimmers swept downstream in a fast-moving river, fighting to keep our heads above water, gasping for air. We get up early and stay up late. We never waste a minute. Our schedule is full, running here, running there, running late, running to catch up, running on empty, until we collapse in utter exhaustion. Underneath the satisfaction of being hard-working, hard-playing people is a weariness that’s desperate for the pace to relent so we can rest and recharge. Deep down, we’re dying to slow down and take a break. We keep telling ours...
주님의 뜻? 요나 선지자는 불신자 사공들에게 " 나를 들어 바다에 던지라 ..." 고 말했습니다 . 주님의 뜻은 요나가 바다에 던진바 되는 것이었습니다 . 그러나 불신자 사공들의 뜻은 " 힘써 노를 저어 배를 육지로 돌리 " 는 것이었습니다 . 그들은 요나 선지자 때문에 큰 폭풍을 만났음에도 불구하고 요나를 바다에 던지지 않았습니다 . 그럴수록 바다가 그들을 향하여 점점 더 흉융해서 능히 배를 육지로 돌리리 못했습니다 . 결국 그들은 "... 주 여호와께서는 주의 뜻대로 행하심이니이다 " 하고 요나를 들어 바다에 던졌습니다 . 그랬더니 바다가 뛰노는 것이 곧 그쳤습니다 ( 요나 1:11-15).
