Identifying the People Involved: The person who stood beside Jesus and drew the sword was Simon Peter . The servant of the high priest was named Malchus . “Then Simon Peter, who had a sword, drew it and struck the high priest’s servant, cutting off his right ear. The servant’s name was Malchus.” ( John 18:10 ) 2. 지혜로운 사람의 책망을 듣는 것이 낫습니다. 하나님에게는 칭찬을 받으려고 하지 않고  사람에게서는 서로 칭찬을 받으려고 하는 어리석은 사람의 칭찬을 듣는 것보다  지혜로운 사람의 맞대 놓고 책망하는 것을 듣는 것이 낫습니다 ( 잠언 27:5; 전도서 7:5; 요한복음 5:44, 현대인의 성경 ).
