A. What Is Biblical Mission? “Biblical mission means more than simply going overseas to plant churches or spread civilization. It means the church participating in the ‘mission of God (Missio Dei)’ and seeking the restoration of God’s rule and glory throughout the whole earth. Mission is not a program that begins with human enthusiasm; rather, it is the heart of God that runs throughout the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, and is a fundamental reason for the church’s existence. Let me clearly summarize five essential principles of true mission as presented in Scripture. 🌍 1. The Mission of God (Missio Dei) The subject and initiator of mission is not human beings but God. 모두 지어낸 이야기에 불과합니다. 산발랏이 느헤미야에게 보낸 다섯 번째 전갈의 내용을 보면 그들은 느헤미야에게 “ 너와 유다 사람들이 반란을 일으키려고 성벽을 재건한다는 소문이 이웃 나라에 파다하게 퍼지고 있 ” 다고 말하면서 “ 이 소문에 의하면 네가 왕이 되려고 몇몇 예언자들을 앞세워 네가 유다 왕이 되었다는 소문을 예루살렘에 퍼뜨리게 했다는 것이다 ” 라고 말했습니다 . 이러한 전갈 내용에 대한 느헤미야의 회답은 산발랏이 자신에게 한 말은 사실이 아니며 모두 지어낸 이야기에 불과하다는 것이었습니다 ( 느헤미야 6:5-8, 현대인의 성경 ). 저는 이 말씀을 묵상할 때 교회를 대적하는 자들은 교회의 지도자인 목사님에 대해서 사실이 아닌 이런 저런 말들을 지어내어 거짓 소문을 교회 안에서도 퍼트릴 수 있다고 생각합니다 . 그 목적은 교회에 불만이 있는 교인들을 충동 ( 선동 ) 하여 교회 안에서 소란 ( 소동 ) 을 일으키는 것입니다 ( 사도행전 21:21, 27, 31; 참고 : 마태복음 5:9). 그 결과 교인들이 교회에서 상처를 입고 교회를 떠나며 , 교회가 분쟁과 분열로 깨지고 , 교회의 머리가 되시는 주님의 마음을 아프게 하는 것입니다 .
