For some of us, it’s been a while. In our hard-working, highly productive culture, we can sometimes feel like exhausted swimmers swept downstream in a fast-moving river, fighting to keep our heads above water, gasping for air. We get up early and stay up late. We never waste a minute. Our schedule is full, running here, running there, running late, running to catch up, running on empty, until we collapse in utter exhaustion. Underneath the satisfaction of being hard-working, hard-playing people is a weariness that’s desperate for the pace to relent so we can rest and recharge. 세상에는 이해할 수 없는 일이 많습니다 . 세상에는 이해할 수 없는 일이 많습니다 . 그 중에 하나는 의인이 악인의 벌을 받는 경우가 있는가 하면 악인이 의인의 상을 받는 경우도 있습니다 . 이것도 헛된 것입니다 ( 전도서 8:14, 현대인의 성경 ). 하나님이 하시는 일을 살펴보니 세상에서 되어지는 일을 사람은 이해할 수가 없습니다 . 아무리 애써서 찾는다고 해도 그 의미를 찾을 수가 없으며 지혜로운 사람이 다 안다고 주장하여도 실제로 그것을 이해할 수가 없습니다 (17 절 , 현대인의 성경 ).
