If a human being tries to seat himself in the “place of honor,” he will ultimately be put to shame; but if he seats himself in the “lowest place” (the place of Jesus Christ), God will exalt him. “Now He began speaking a parable to the invited guests when He noticed how they had been picking out the places of honor at the table, saying to them, ‘When you are invited by someone to a wedding feast, do not take the place of honor, for someone more distinguished than you may have been invited by him, and he who invited you both will come and say to you, “Give your place to this man,” and then in disgrace you proceed to occupy the last place. 하나님께서 행하신 일로 즐거워할 것입니다. 하나님께서는 하나님의 백성들을 불쌍히 여겨 그들을 돌아오게 할 것이니 그들이 하나님에게 버림받은 적이 없었던 것처럼 될 것입니다 . 하나님은 그들의 부르짖음에 응답하실 것입니다 . 그 결과 하나님께서는 그들을 강하게 하여 용사와 같게 하실 것입니다 . 그러므로 하나님의 백성들의 마음이 포도주를 마신 것같이 기쁠 것이요 그들의 자녀들도 그것을 보고 기뻐하며 하나님께서 행하신 일로 즐거워할 것입니다 ( 참고 : 스가랴 10:6-7, 현대인의 성경 ).
