We are taught that we must become upright people who, in God’s sight, are blameless and fully keep His commandments. “In the time of Herod king of Judea there was a priest named Zechariah, who belonged to the priestly division of Abijah; his wife Elizabeth was also a descendant of Aaron. Both of them were righteous in the sight of God, observing all the Lord’s commands and decrees blamelessly” [(Modern Translation: “When Herod was king of Judea, there was a priest named Zechariah of the division of Abijah, and his wife Elizabeth also came from the family of Aaron. They were righteous before God and faithfully kept all the Lord’s commandments and regulations without fault”)] (Luke 1:5–6). 하나님의 뜻 하나님의 선하신 뜻은 ( 롬 12:2) 사랑하사 창세 전에 택한 사람들을 구원하는 것입니다 ( 엡 1:4). 그 구원의 뜻을 이루심에 있어서 하나님은 모든 것을 합력하여 구원의 뜻을 이루십니다 ( 롬 8:28). 그 원대한 구원의 뜻을 이루심에 있어서 하나님은 예수 그리스도를 믿는 우리를 사용하시길 원하십니다 . 그러므로 우리는 사나 죽으나 ( 롬 14:8) 하나님의 구원의 뜻을 이루어 드리는 일에 겸손히 순종해야 합니다 ( 빌 2:8). 우리는 예수 그리스도의 복음의 합당한 삶을 살아가므로 예수 그리스도를 우리의 삶으로 증거하는 증인의 삶을 살아야 할 뿐만 아니라 ( 빌 1:27) 우리의 입을 열어 그 복음을 증거해야 합니다 ( 행 8:35). 오직 하나님의 구원의 뜻이 이미 하늘에서 이루어진 것 같이 이 땅에서도 이루어 지길 기원합니다 ( 마 6:10).
