«Acéptense los unos a los otros» [Romanos 15:7–13] El domingo pasado, al centrarnos en Romanos 15:1–6, recibimos el motivo de oración: «Que nos concedas unidad de parecer». Elevamos esta oración para preservar la unidad que compartimos en Jesucristo. Para mantener la unidad de la iglesia, aprendimos que hay tres responsabilidades que debemos cumplir mientras oramos a Dios: (1) Primero, todos los miembros de nuestra Iglesia Victoria debemos procurar agradar a nuestro prójimo en lugar de a nosotros mismos; (2) Segundo, debemos aferrarnos a la esperanza mediante la perseverancia y el aliento que se encuentran en las Escrituras; (3) Tercero, debemos glorificar a Dios con un mismo corazón y una misma voz. There is a book called “Freedom From Sinful Thoughts” written by Pastor Heinrich Arnold, a Christian counseling pastor (Internet). In this book, the author emphasizes the importance of fighting and struggling against the evil thoughts that come into us countless times. The reason is because if we neglect and let them come into our thoughts, then the evil thoughts will grow and eventually bear the fruit of sinful actions. The moment we voluntarily enjoy evil thoughts, we are being manipulated by the forces of darkness without even realizing it.
