사람의 말보다 하나님의 지시를 따라야 합니다.
분명히 동방에서 온 박사들은 헤롯왕으로부터 “가서 아기에 대하여 자세히 알아보고 찾거든 내게도 알려 주시오.
그러면 나도 가서 아기에게 경배하겠소”하는 말을 들었음에도 불구하고(마태복음 2:8, 현대인의 성경)
꿈에 헤롯에게 가지 말라는 하나님의 지시를 받고 딴 길로 자기 나라에 돌아갔습니다(12절, 현대인의 성경). 저는 이 말씀 묵상할 때 사도행전
4장 19절 말씀이 생각났습니다:
“베드로와 요한이 대답하여 이르되 하나님 앞에서 너희의 말을 듣는 것이 하나님의 말씀을 듣는 것보다 옳은가 판단하라”[(현대인의 성경)
“그러자 베드로와 요한이 이렇게 대답하였다.
'하나님의 말씀을 듣지 않고 여러분의 말을 듣는 것이 하나님이 보시기에 옳은 일인지 한번 판단해 보십시오”].
