For some of us, it’s been a while. In our hard-working, highly productive culture, we can sometimes feel like exhausted swimmers swept downstream in a fast-moving river, fighting to keep our heads above water, gasping for air. We get up early and stay up late. We never waste a minute. Our schedule is full, running here, running there, running late, running to catch up, running on empty, until we collapse in utter exhaustion. Underneath the satisfaction of being hard-working, hard-playing people is a weariness that’s desperate for the pace to relent so we can rest and recharge. Deep down, we’re dying to slow down and take a break. We keep telling ours...
불신자의 생각과 별 다를바 없는 신자의 생각 광야에서 이스라엘 백성들은 10 명의 정탐꾼의 악평을 듣고 " 여호와께서 우리를 미워하시므로 ..." 라고 원망했습니다 ( 신명기 1:27). 광야에서 모세는 하나님을 항상 거역하는 이스라엘 백성들을 하나님께서 멸하시겠다고 말씀하셨을 때 하나님께 간구하기를 " 주께서 우리를 인도하여 내신 그 땅 백성이 말하기를 여호와께서 ... 그들을 미워하기도 하사 ..." 라고 말했습니다 (9:28). 이 두 성경 말씀을 연관해서 묵상할 때 이스라엘 백성들이 ' 하나님께서 우리를 미워하시므로 ...' 라는 생각은 (1:27) 애굽 백성들의 생각과 같다는 것입니다 (9:28). 즉 , 원망을 하던 이스라엘 백성들의 생각과 하나님을 믿지 않는 애굽 백성들의 생각과 같다는 것입니다 . 어떻게 신자의 생각과 불신자의 생각이 같을 수 있나요 ? 하나님의 명령을 거역하여 하나님을 믿지 않고 하나님의 말씀을 듣지 않는 (9:23) 원망하는 교인의 생각은 세속화되어서 하나님의 사랑을 모르는 불신자의 생각과 같을 수 밖에 없습니다 .
