God’s love, which is stronger than death, is causing me to continue walking the path of the mission the Lord has given me (John 6:1–15). “At that very time some Pharisees came and said to Him, ‘Leave this place and go somewhere else. Herod wants to kill You.’ He replied, ‘Go tell that fox, “I will keep driving out demons and healing people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach My goal.” In any case, I must press on today and tomorrow and the next day—for surely no prophet can die outside Jerusalem! 복음의 소망에 흔들리지 마십시다 . (5) 사도 바울은 골로새 교회의 신실한 성도들에게 믿음에 굳게 서서 복음의 소망에 흔들리지 말라고 권면한 후 이 복음은 천한 만민에게 전파되고 있다고 말했습니다 . 그 말은 바울이 보기엔 하나님의 전적인 은혜의 힘으로 말씀의 열매 또는 복음의 열매가 골로새 교회의 신실한 성도들 가운데서만 맺어 자라나고 있었던 것이 아니라 온 천하에서도 맺어 자라나고 있다는 것입니다 . 그리고 나서 바울은 자기 또한 골로새 교회의 신실한 성도들처럼 이 복음의 일꾼이 되었다고 말씀한 것입니다 ( 골 1:23). 즉 , 그는 자신이 예수 그리스도의 복음이요 구원의 복음의 일꾼이 되었다고 말한 것입니다 . 우리도 예수 그리스도의 복음의 일꾼입니다 . 우리는 하나님께서 주신 은혜의 선물인 구원을 받은 자들로서 우리 속에 일하시는 하나님의 능력으로 예수 그리스도의 복음을 전파하는 일꾼들이 이미 되었습니다 . 그리고 주님께서 우리에게 주신 명령은 분명합니다 : “… 너희는 온 천하에 다니며 만민에게 복음을 전파하라 ”( 막 16:15). 그러므로 우리도 예수 그리스도의 복음을 듣고 참으로 하나님의 구원의 은혜를 깨달은 날부터 우리는 하나님의 은혜의 힘으로 예수 그리스도의 구원의 복음을 온 천하에 다니면서 하늘 아래 모든 사람에게 전해야 합니다 . 그 이유는 예수 그리스도의 복음이 온 세상에 전파되어야 끝이 올 것이기 때문입니다 ( 마 24:14).
