A. What Is Biblical Mission? “Biblical mission means more than simply going overseas to plant churches or spread civilization. It means the church participating in the ‘mission of God (Missio Dei)’ and seeking the restoration of God’s rule and glory throughout the whole earth. Mission is not a program that begins with human enthusiasm; rather, it is the heart of God that runs throughout the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, and is a fundamental reason for the church’s existence. Let me clearly summarize five essential principles of true mission as presented in Scripture. 🌍 1. The Mission of God (Missio Dei) The subject and initiator of mission is not human beings but God. In order to save fallen humanity, God first comes to us, sends His Son, and sends the Holy Spirit. He is the “missionary God” who sends. 우리는 우리의 귀를 훈련시켜야 합니다 . 아하시야 왕은 자기의 친척인 아합 집안 사람들의 가르침을 좇지 말았어야 했습니다 . 그러나 그는 그들의 “ 가르침 ” 을 좇아 하나님께서 보시기에 악을 행했습니다 . 또한 아하시야 왕은 아합 집안 사람들의 “ 조언 ” 을 듣지 말았어야 했습니다 . 그러나 그는 그들이 조언을 듣고 아합의 아들인 이스라엘의 요람 왕과 함께 시리아의 하사엘 왕을 치러갔다가 결국에 가서 그도 아합의 집안 사람들처럼 예후에게 죽임을 당했습니다 ( 역대하 22:4-9, 현대인의 성경 ). 저는 이 말씀을 묵상할 때 사탄은 우리 주위에 악한 사람들의 가르침과 조언을 우리로 하여금 듣게 만들어 하나님께서 보시기에 악을 행하게 만들 수 있다는 생각이 듭니다 . 심지어 사탄은 양의 탈을 썼지만 속은 굶주린 이리와 같은 거짓 목사들 ( 참고 : 마태복음 7:15, 새 번역 ) 의 거짓된 가르침과 조언을 우리로 하여금 듣게 만들어 하나님께 범죄케 할 수 있다고 생각합니다 . 이미 때가 이르렀습니다 . 사람들이 바른 교훈을 듣지 않고 오히려 자기 욕심을 따르며 자기들의 귀를 즐겁게하는 교사들의 말을 들으려고 거짓 목사들에게 모여들고 있습니다 ( 참고 : 디모데후서 4:3, 현대인의 성경 ). 그러므로 우리는 우리의 귀를 훈련시켜야 합니다 . 우리의 귀는 바른 교훈을 듣는데 익숙해야 합니다 . 우리의 귀는 성령님께서 우리에게 하시는 말씀을 듣는데 익숙해야 합니다 ( 참고 : 요한계시록 2:7, 11, 17, 29; 3:13, 22, 현대인의 성경 ).
