A. What Is Biblical Mission? “Biblical mission means more than simply going overseas to plant churches or spread civilization. It means the church participating in the ‘mission of God (Missio Dei)’ and seeking the restoration of God’s rule and glory throughout the whole earth. Mission is not a program that begins with human enthusiasm; rather, it is the heart of God that runs throughout the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, and is a fundamental reason for the church’s existence. 상대방이 우리를 해치려고 할지라도 ... 비록 사울 왕은 다윗을 죽이려고 찾아 헤맸지만 다윗은 사울 왕을 해하려 하지 않았습니다 . 그러므로 다윗은 사울 왕에게 범죄한 일이 없었습니다 ( 사무엘상 24:11, 현대인의 성경 ). 창세기 50 장 19 절 말씀이 생각납니다 : “ 형님들은 나를 해치려고 하였으나 하나님은 그것을 선으로 바꾸셔서 오늘날 내가 많은 사람의 생명을 구할 수 있게 하셨습니다 ”( 현대인의 성경 ). 이 말씀들을 묵상할 때 상대방이 우리를 해치려고 할지라도 우리는 똑같이 상대방을 해치려고 하므로 하나님께 범죄하기보다 하나님께서 그것을 어떻게 선으로 바꾸셔서 하나님의 선하시고 기뻐하시고 온전하신 뜻 ( 로마서 12:2) 을 이루실지 기도하며 , 기대하며 , 기다릴 필요가 있다고 생각합니다 .
