수동적 섬김 주님의 몸된 교회를 섬김에 있어서 수동적 (passive) 일 필요가 있음을 느낍니다 . 보이는 장점은 우리가 수동적으로 섬길 때 주님께서 주님의 교회를 세우시는 것을 좀 더 분명하게 보인다는 것입니다 . 또 다른 장점은 우리가 수동적으로 섬길 때 화목하게 팀 사역을 함께 하는데 유익하다는 것입니다 . 우리가 너무나 지나치게 능동적으로 교회를 섬기려 하면 주님이 교회를 세우시는 역사보다 우리의 행함이 더 잘 보이고 또한 화목하게 팀 사역을 함께 하기가 어려울 수도 있지 않나 생각합니다 .
