A. What Is Biblical Mission? “Biblical mission means more than simply going overseas to plant churches or spread civilization. It means the church participating in the ‘mission of God (Missio Dei)’ and seeking the restoration of God’s rule and glory throughout the whole earth. Mission is not a program that begins with human enthusiasm; rather, it is the heart of God that runs throughout the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, and is a fundamental reason for the church’s existence. Let me clearly summarize five essential principles of true mission as presented in Scripture. 🌍 1. The Mission of God (Missio Dei) The subject and initiator of mission is not human beings but God. 불신자의 생각과 별 다를바 없는 신자의 생각 광야에서 이스라엘 백성들은 10 명의 정탐꾼의 악평을 듣고 " 여호와께서 우리를 미워하시므로 ..." 라고 원망했습니다 ( 신명기 1:27). 광야에서 모세는 하나님을 항상 거역하는 이스라엘 백성들을 하나님께서 멸하시겠다고 말씀하셨을 때 하나님께 간구하기를 " 주께서 우리를 인도하여 내신 그 땅 백성이 말하기를 여호와께서 ... 그들을 미워하기도 하사 ..." 라고 말했습니다 (9:28). 이 두 성경 말씀을 연관해서 묵상할 때 이스라엘 백성들이 ' 하나님께서 우리를 미워하시므로 ...' 라는 생각은 (1:27) 애굽 백성들의 생각과 같다는 것입니다 (9:28). 즉 , 원망을 하던 이스라엘 백성들의 생각과 하나님을 믿지 않는 애굽 백성들의 생각과 같다는 것입니다 . 어떻게 신자의 생각과 불신자의 생각이 같을 수 있나요 ? 하나님의 명령을 거역하여 하나님을 믿지 않고 하나님의 말씀을 듣지 않는 (9:23) 원망하는 교인의 생각은 세속화되어서 하나님의 사랑을 모르는 불신자의 생각과 같을 수 밖에 없습니다 .
