A. What Is Biblical Mission? “Biblical mission means more than simply going overseas to plant churches or spread civilization. It means the church participating in the ‘mission of God (Missio Dei)’ and seeking the restoration of God’s rule and glory throughout the whole earth. Mission is not a program that begins with human enthusiasm; rather, it is the heart of God that runs throughout the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, and is a fundamental reason for the church’s existence. Let me clearly summarize five essential principles of true mission as presented in Scripture. 🌍 1. The Mission of God (Missio Dei) The subject and initiator of mission is not human beings but God. 하나님께서는 요나 선지자에게 성내시는 것이 옳으셨음에도 불구하고 ... 비록 요나 선지자는 성내는 것이 옳치 않았지만 ( 요나 4:4, 9) 제 생각엔 하나님께서는 요나 선지자에게 성내시는 것이 옳으셨다고 생각합니다 . 제가 그리 생각하는 이유는 ... 1. 요나 선지자는 하나님의 말씀에 불순종했습니다 (1:1-3). 2. 불순종한 요나 선지자로 말미암아 배에 함께 타고 있었던 불신자 선장과 사공들에게 큰 피해를 입혔습니다 (4 절 ). 3. 하나님께서 내리신 큰 바람과 큰 폭풍으로 인해 요나 선지자가 타고 있던 배가 거의 깨지게 되었을 때 불신자 사공들은 두려워하여 각각 자기의 신을 불렀지만 요나 선지자는 하나님께 부르짖지도 않고 오히려 배 밑층에서 누워 깊이 잠들어 있었습니다 (4-5 절 ). 심지어 불신자 선장은 요나 선지자에게 " 자는 자여 어찌함이냐 일어나 네 하나님께 구하라 혹시 하나님이 우리를 생각하사 망하지 아니하게 하시리라 " 고 말했지만 요나 선지자는 하나님께 구하지도 않았습니다 (6 절 ). 4. 하나님께서는 불신자 선장의 " 일어나 "(6 절 ) 라는 말을 통해서도 " 일어나 "(2 절 ) 라는 하나님의 말씀을 요나 선지자에게 상기시켜주셨지만 요나는 하나님의 말씀에 계속해서 불순종했습니다 . 5. 불신자 사공들이 제비를 뽑아 이 재앙이 요나로 인해 온 것을 알게 되었을 때에 " 바다와 육지를 지으신 하늘의 하나님 여호와를 경외하는 자로라 " 고 말했지만 (9 절 ) 실제로는 하나님을 경외하는 하나님의 종 ( 선지자 ) 으로서 불신자들에게 본이 ...
