For some of us, it’s been a while. In our hard-working, highly productive culture, we can sometimes feel like exhausted swimmers swept downstream in a fast-moving river, fighting to keep our heads above water, gasping for air. We get up early and stay up late. We never waste a minute. Our schedule is full, running here, running there, running late, running to catch up, running on empty, until we collapse in utter exhaustion. Underneath the satisfaction of being hard-working, hard-playing people is a weariness that’s desperate for the pace to relent so we can rest and recharge. Deep down, we’re dying to slow down and take a break. We keep telling ours...

"... 세상에 있는 자기 사람들을 사랑하시되 끝까지 사랑하시니라 " ( 요 13:1 하 ). 예수님께서는 가룟 유다의 마음에 당신을 팔려는 생각을 마귀가 넣은 것을 아시면서도 (2 절 ) 그의 발을 씻기셨습니다 (5 절 ). 예수님께서는 베드로가 닭 울기 전에 세번 당신을 부인할 줄 아시면서도 (38 절 ) 그의 발을 씻기셨습니다 . 그 예수님께서 유언하시다시피 예수님의 제자들에게 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다 : " 새 계명을 너희에게 주노니 서로 사랑하라 내가 너희를 사랑한 것 같이 너희도 서로 사랑하라 너희가 서로 사랑하면 이로써 모든 사람이 너희가 내 제자인 줄 알리라 "(34-35 절 ). 예 수님께서 가룟 유다와 같고 또한 베드로와 같은 나를 사랑하시되 끝가지 사랑하시기에 나 또한 " 가룟 유다 " 와 같은 , 그리고 " 베드로 " 와 같은 사람을 사랑하고 싶습니다 . 나는 할 수 없사오니 내 안에 거하시는 성령님께서 사랑케 하옵소서 .
