God’s love, which is stronger than death, is causing me to continue walking the path of the mission the Lord has given me (John 6:1–15). “At that very time some Pharisees came and said to Him, ‘Leave this place and go somewhere else. Herod wants to kill You.’ He replied, ‘Go tell that fox, “I will keep driving out demons and healing people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach My goal.” In any case, I must press on today and tomorrow and the next day—for surely no prophet can die outside Jerusalem! Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing. 정면대결 및 정통으로 정곡을 찔러야 합니다. 다윗은 자기의 " 정면 " 으로 걸어 나오고 있었던 골리앗을 향하여 " 달려가 " 며 주머니에서 돌 하나를 끄집어내어 물매로 그에게 던지자 그 돌은 골리앗의 이마에 " 정통 " 으로 맞아 꽂히므로 그는 땅바닥에 쓰러졌습니다 . 이와 같이 다윗은 칼 하나 없이 물매와 돌 하나만 가지고서 그 블레셋 거인을 쓰러뜨리고 " 달려가 " 골리앗의 칼집에서 칼을 뽑아 그것으로 그를 죽이고 그의 목을 베어 버렸습니다 ( 사무엘상 17:48-51, 현대인의 성경 ). 이 말씀을 묵상할 때 우리는 예수 그리스도를 믿는 믿음과 구원의 확신과 승리의 확신을 가지고 정면 대결해야 하며 또한 성령의 검인 하나님의 말씀으로(에베소서 6:17) 정통으로 대적자의 정곡을 찔러야 한다는 교훈을 받습니다 . 또한 우리는 주 말씀 향하여 달려가야 한다는 교훈도 받습니다 ( 참고 : 시편 119:32).
