For some of us, it’s been a while. In our hard-working, highly productive culture, we can sometimes feel like exhausted swimmers swept downstream in a fast-moving river, fighting to keep our heads above water, gasping for air. We get up early and stay up late. We never waste a minute. Our schedule is full, running here, running there, running late, running to catch up, running on empty, until we collapse in utter exhaustion. Underneath the satisfaction of being hard-working, hard-playing people is a weariness that’s desperate for the pace to relent so we can rest and recharge. 하나님의 일하심이 흥미롭습니다 . 하나님께서는 요셉이 죄를 범하지도 않았는데도 불구하고 애굽 왕 바로의 신하 친위대장 보디발 (39:1) 의 아내에게 억울한 누명을 쓰고 옥에 갇히도록 허락하셨는데 (7-20 절 ), 하나님께서는 " 그 후에 " 바로 왕에게 범죄한 그의 술 맡은 관원장과 떡 굽는 관원장을 (40:1) 바로 왕의 분노 가운데 요셉이 갇혀있었던 친위대장 보디발의 집 안에 있는 옥에 갇히게 하셨습니다 (2-3 절 ). 그러신 후 하나님께서는 옥에 갇혀있었던 두 관원장으로 하여금 꿈을 꾸게 하시고 요셉으로 하여금 그 두 사람의 꿈을 해석케 하시사 (5-13 절 ) 결국에는 술맡은 관원장을 통하여 꿈을 꾼 바로 왕에게 소개되어 (41:9-13) 마침내 바로 왕의 꿈도 해석케 하시므로 (25-36 절 ) 바로 왕을 통해 요셉을 건져내셨습니다 (14 절 ).
