하나님을 믿음으로 행할 때에와 우리가 자신을 의지하여 행할 때의 차이? 모세가 태어났을 때 그의 부모가 믿음으로 그를 석 달 동안이나 숨겨 두었던 것 ( 히브리서 11:23, 현대인의 성경 ) 은 탄로가 나지 않았지만 , 장성한 모세가 자기의 힘으로 자기 민족인 히브리 사람을 한 이집트 사람이 치는 것을 보고 그 이집트 사람을 쳐죽여 시체를 모래 속에 감추어 버린 것은 탄로가 났습니다 ( 출애굽기 2:11-14, 현대인의 성경 ). 그 결과 이집트 왕 바로가 모세를 죽이려고 하였으므로 모세는 미디안 땅으로 피신했습니다 (15 절 , 현대인의 성경 ). 우리가 하나님을 믿음으로 행할 때에는 감추인바가 되지만 , 우리 자신을 의지하여 우리 힘으로 행할 때에는 감추려고 했던 것을 하나님께서 들춰 내시는 것 같습니다 .
