균형을 잃은 삐뚤어진 자아성찰 저는 개인적으로 하나님의 말씀이라는 영적 거울에 제 자신을 비춰보는 반영 (reflection) 이 매우 중요하다고 생각합니다 . 그리고 그 말씀의 거울에 반영된 제 자신의 모습을 직시 (confrontation) 하는 것 또한 매우 중요하다고 생각합니다 . 그런데 저의 문제는 하나님의 말씀의 거울에 비춰진 제 모습을 주님의 눈으로 바라보지 못하고 제 눈으로 바라보는 것입니다 . 여기서 제 눈으로 바라보는 것이란 하나님의 거룩한 말씀의 거울에 비춰진 제 자신의 죄악된 모습만을 보면서 그 모습으로 인해 극심한 낙심과 자책감과 죄책감과 자괴감 속에서 허덕이는 것입니다 . 제 눈으로 제 자신을 바라보는 것의 한계는 바로 하나님의 거룩한 말씀으로 인해 계속해서 더 많이 들춰지는 범죄들입니다 ( 롬 5:20 상 ). 이것은 삐뚤어지고 잘못된 자기 성찰 (introspection) 입니다 . 잘못된 자기 성찰은 자기의 눈으로 자기 자신만 바라보게 만듭니다 . 다시 말하면 , 잘못된 자기 성찰은 나 자신만 바라보게 하고 나의 모든 죄를 걸머지시고 사해주시고자 십자가에 죽으신 예수님을 바라보지 못하게 만듭니다 . 올바른 자아성찰 (self-examination) 은 나의모든 죄를 대신 걸머지시고 십자가에 죽으신 예수 그리스도를 바라보는 것입니다 ( 히 12:2). 비록 하나님의 거...
