Herod wants to kill You.’   He replied, ‘Go tell that fox, “I will keep driving out demons and healing people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach My goal.”   In any case, I must press on today and tomorrow and the next day—for surely no prophet can die outside Jerusalem!   Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing.   Look, your house is left to you desolate.   I tell you, you will not see Me again until you say, “Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord” (Luke 13:31–35).     ...

 삶을 극대화하자




역기를 드는 것도 그저 어느 정도의 무게를 드는 것으로 만족하기보다 좀 더 힘들어도 내가 들수 있는 무게를 최대한 끌어올리려고 maximize 하듯이 주님 안에서의 삶도 주님이 주시는 은혜로 이미 받은 은사 달란트를 최대한 발휘하도록 maximize 해야겠다는 생각이 든다.  그러기 위해선 나는 믿음으로 용기를 내서 지금의 안전하고 편안한 것에서부터 나와 힘들고 어렵고 실수와 실패를 한다 할지라도 모험과 시도를 해야겠다.
