God’s love, which is stronger than death, is causing me to continue walking the path of the mission the Lord has given me (John 6:1–15). “At that very time some Pharisees came and said to Him, ‘Leave this place and go somewhere else. Herod wants to kill You.’ He replied, ‘Go tell that fox, “I will keep driving out demons and healing people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach My goal.” In any case, I must press on today and tomorrow and the next day—for surely no prophet can die outside Jerusalem! Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing. Offensive or Joy? (불쾌합니까 아니면 기쁨니까?)
The Gospel of Jesus Christ is offensive to some because it reveals their sins. But to us the Gospel is overflowing joy because our revealed sins are forgiven by His death on the cross.
어떤 사람들에게는 예수 그리스도의 복음이 불쾌합니다. 그 이유는 그 복음이 그들의 죄를 들춰내기 때문입니다. 그러나 우리에게는 예수 그리스도의 복음은 넘치는 기쁨입니다. 그 이유는 들춰진 우리의 모든 죄가 예수 그리스도의 십자가의 죽으심으로 사함을 받았기 때문입니다.
