God’s love, which is stronger than death, is causing me to continue walking the path of the mission the Lord has given me (John 6:1–15). “At that very time some Pharisees came and said to Him, ‘Leave this place and go somewhere else. Herod wants to kill You.’ He replied, ‘Go tell that fox, “I will keep driving out demons and healing people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach My goal.” In any case, I must press on today and tomorrow and the next day—for surely no prophet can die outside Jerusalem! "5 주께 힘을 얻고 그 마음에 시온의 대로가 있는 자는 복이 있나이다 6 그들이 눈물 골짜기로 지나갈 때에 그 곳에 많은 샘이 있을 것이며 이른 비가 복을 채워 주나이다 7 그들은 힘을 얻고 더 얻어 나아가 시온에서 하나님 앞에 각기 나타나리이다 8 만군의 하나님 여호와여 내 기도를 들으소서 야곱의 하나님이여 귀를 기울이소서 (셀라) (시84:5-8) ------ 고단한 인생길을 걸어갈 때마다 주님께서 주시는 위로에 힘을 얻게 된다. 우리가 존경하는 성경의 인물 대부분이 고난 속에 신실하신 하나님을 만난 사람들이다. 아브라함, 야곱, 요셉, 모세, 욥, 다니엘, 에스더 등등. 이들이 위대했던 이유는 고난 가운데에서도 하나님을 끝까지 붙들었기 때문이다. 고난(근심, 걱정)이 없는 삶을 위해 기도했지만, 하나님께서는 우리를 주님의 장성한 분량까지 성장시키시려고 우리에게 고난을 허락하신다. 고난이 없기를 기도하기 보다, 고난을 잘 통과하도록 기도해야겠다. 주님! 삶 속에 만나는 다양한 어려움 속에 우리를 위로하시고 힘주시는 주님을 뜨겁게 만나게 도와주세요. 우리의 부르짓는 기도를 들으시고 응답해 주세요. 예수님 이름으로 기도드립니다. 아멘!"
