주님을 사랑하였던 사도 바울 "우리 주여 오시옵소서"(고전 16:22), 사도 요한 "... 주 예수여 오시옵소서"(계 22:20)라고 말했습니다.  예수님께서는 "내가 진실로 속히 오리라"고 말씀하셨습니다(20절).  그러므로 주님을 사랑하는 우리는 '마라나타'라고 말할 수 있어야 합니다(고전 16:22, 계 22:20).
