If a human being tries to seat himself in the “place of honor,” he will ultimately be put to shame; but if he seats himself in the “lowest place” (the place of Jesus Christ), God will exalt him.

우리를 긍휼히 여기시는 하나님 




비록 우리가 돌이켜 말없이 하나님을 신뢰하여 구원을 바고 힘을 얻기를 원하지 않을지라도 하나님께서는 아직도 우리가 돌아오기를 기다리고 계시며 우리에게 사랑을 베푸시려고 하십니다.   이유는 하나님은 우리를 긍휼히 여기려 하시기 때문입니다.  정의의 하나님을 기다리는 자마다 복이 있습니다(이사야 30:15, 18, 현대인의 성경).
