In our hard-working, highly productive culture, we can sometimes feel like exhausted swimmers swept downstream in a fast-moving river, fighting to keep our heads above water, gasping for air. We get up early and stay up late. We never waste a minute. Our schedule is full, running here, running there, running late, running to catch up, running on empty, until we collapse in utter exhaustion. Underneath the satisfaction of being hard-working, hard-playing people is a weariness that’s desperate for the pace to relent so we can rest and recharge. 오늘 주일은 제가 섬기고 있는
승리장로교회 설립 38주년 기념 감사 연합예배를 하나님께 드렸습니다.
한국어 사역, 영어 사역, 히스패닉 사역이 다 함께 모여
하나님께 3 언어로 찬양과 경배륻 드렸습니다.
갓난 아기부터 팔십이 넘으신 어르신들까지 다 함께 하나님께 예배를 드렸습니다.
그런 후 지역 사회 섬김의 시간을 가졌는데 저는 장로님과 목양실에서 식사를 하면서
대화를 하고 있는데 장로님의 부인 집사님이 들어오셔서
장로님에게 뭐라고 말씀하시던이
(기념품 주문을 제2여전도회에서 골라서 결국에는 장로님께 마지막 부탁을 했나본데
장로님이 실수로 가격이 싼 기념품을 주문하시는 바람에 여 집사님에게 ... ㅋㅋㅋ .
그 모습을 보면서 저는 장로님도 나처럼 저격을 당하시는구 라는 생각이 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ)
조금 있다가 제 아내까지 들어와서.... ㅎㅎㅎ
