'우리들이 확실하게 믿고 있는 것들'
“우리 중에 이루어진 사실에 대하여”(누가복음1:1)하는 말씀을 묵상하면서 주시는 교훈을 받고자 합니다:

여기서 “우리”란 예수님에 관한 기록에 객관성과 정확성과 역사성을 뒷받침해 주는 예수님의 목격자들(witnesses)을 말합니다.
그것은 뒤이어 나오는
2절과 함께 연결해 본다면 의미가 더욱 명확해집니다.
그러므로 “우리”는 명백히 예수 그리스도의 증인들임이 분명하다(Alford)(호크마).

그리고 “이루어진 사실”이란 ‘성사된 일’,
‘성취된’(accomplished)
일이라는 뜻입니다. 또한 ‘가장 확실하게 인정되고 믿어진 일’
등으로도 번역될 수 있습니다. 이러한 사실을 종합해 볼 때 이 말은
'벌써부터 예정되었던 계획을 따라 성취된 확실한 사건들'이라는 의미로 결론지을 수 있습니다(Merrill
