우리가 주님의 계명대로 서로 사랑해야 한다는 것을 알면서도 우리는 계명에 순종하지 못하는 것일까요?   원인은 우리에게 사랑을 베푸신 성부 하나님과 우리의 죄를 위하여 화목제물로서 십자가에서 스스로 목숨을 버리신 태초부터 계신 영원한 생명의 말씀이신 성자 예수 그리스도와 친밀한 사귐(교제) 누리고 있지 못하고 있기 때문입니다(요일 1:1-3; 2:2; 3:1, 16).
