The need to periodically spend time alone with the Lord

 

 

When I think of Jesus, who after dismissing the crowds

went up the mountain alone to pray and was there alone

 even when evening was coming (Matthew 14:23),

I am reminded of the need to periodically spend time

alone with the Lord, away from people.

The backbone of my ministry should be

spending time alone with the Lord.
