A. What Is Biblical Mission? “Biblical mission means more than simply going overseas to plant churches or spread civilization. It means the church participating in the ‘mission of God (Missio Dei)’ and seeking the restoration of God’s rule and glory throughout the whole earth. Mission is not a program that begins with human enthusiasm; rather, it is the heart of God that runs throughout the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, and is a fundamental reason for the church’s existence. Let me clearly summarize five essential principles of true mission as presented in Scripture. 🌍 1. The Mission of God (Missio Dei) The subject and initiator of mission is not human beings but God. “죄 없는 사람이 살인죄를 지고 죽는 일이 없도록 하여야 합니다."
예수님을 사형에 처할 만한 증거를 잡으려고 했던(마태복음 26:59, 현대인의 성경) 모든 대제사장들과 장로들은 예수님이 성전을 모독한 죄(61절)와 신성을 모독한 죄(63-65절)로 죽이기로 합의하였습니다.
그리고 그들은 예수님을 묶어서 끌고 가 총독 빌라도에게 넘겼습니다(27:1-2, 현대인의 성경).
예수님은 죄를 알지도 못하신 분이신데(고린도후서 5:21) 그들은 예수님을 마땅히 사형을 받아야 하는 죄인으로 여겨 로마 총독 본디오 빌라도에게 넘겼습니다.
분명히 신명기 19장 10절은 “… 죄 없는 사람이 살인죄를 지고 죽는 일이 없도록 하여야 합니다. …”라고 성경은 말씀하고 있는데 그들은 죄 없으신 예수님을 사형수로 만들어 버렸습니다.
고린도후서 5장 21절 말씀입니다: “하나님이 죄를 알지도 못하신 이를 우리를 대신하여 죄로 삼으신 것은 우리로 하여금 그 안에서 하나님의 의가 되게 하려 하심이라.”
