그 두 관원장들이 같은 날 밤에 서로 다른 꿈을 꾸었고 하나님께서 요셉으로 하여금 그들의 꿈을 해석하게 하시사 요셉의
해석대로 술 맡은 관원장은 전직을 회복했지만 요셉을 기억하지 못하고 잊고 있다가 만 2년이 지난 후에 바로
왕이 꿈을 꾸므로 술 맡은 관원장이 요셉을 기억하고 바로 왕에게 말하므로 요셉이 바로 왕의 꿈마저 해석하여 결국에 가서는 애굽의 총리가 되었습니다(창세기 39:6-41:41, 현대인의 성경). 17살의 소년 요셉(37:2, 현대인의 성경)이 형들에게 미움을 받아(4-5, 8절)
