A. What Is Biblical Mission? “Biblical mission means more than simply going overseas to plant churches or spread civilization. It means the church participating in the ‘mission of God (Missio Dei)’ and seeking the restoration of God’s rule and glory throughout the whole earth. Mission is not a program that begins with human enthusiasm; rather, it is the heart of God that runs throughout the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, and is a fundamental reason for the church’s existence. Let me clearly summarize five essential principles of true mission as presented in Scripture. 🌍 1. The Mission of God (Missio Dei) The subject and initiator of mission is not human beings but God. 학대를 받으면 받을수록 더 많이 번성하고 강력한 하나님의 백성이 되게하시는 것이 아닐까요?
이집트 사람들은 히브리 사람과 함께 먹는 것을 아주 싫어했습니다(창세기 43:32, 현대인의 성경).
같이 먹으면 부정을 입는다고 생각했습니다(32절).
그리고 이집트 사람들은 목축하는 사람들을 천시하였습니다(46:34, 현대인의 성경).
그런데 야곱과 아들들은 그들의 조상들처럼 목축하는 사람들이었습니다(32-34절).
이 말씀을 묵상할 때 왜 하나님께서는 히브리 사람과 같이 먹는 것도 부정을 입는다고 생각하여 아주 싫어하는 이집트 사람들, 또한 목축하는 사람들을 천시하는 그 이집트 사람들의 나라로 야곱과 그의 아들들과 후손들을 인도하셨을까요?
혹시 그 이유가 하나님께서는 아브람에게 약속하신 대로 "네 후손들이 외국 땅에서 나그네가 되어 400년 동안 종살이하며 학대를 받을 것이다"는 말씀을 성취하시기 위해서가 아니었을까요?(15:13, 현대인의 성경)
혹시 그 이유가 이스라엘 자손이 학대를 받으면 받을수록 더 많이 번성하여 그 수가 늘어나서 강력한 민족이 되게하시려고 하신 것이 아닐까요?(출애굽기 1:12, 20, 현대인의 성경)
믿음의 선조들은 "온갖 학대를 받았습니다"라고 성경 히브리서 11장 37절 현대인의 성경은 말씀하고 있습니다.
혹시 우리 믿는 자들은 우리의 대적자들로 말미암아 학대를 받으면 받을수록 더 많이 번성하고 강력한 하나님의 백성이 되게하시는 것이 아닐까요?
