God’s love, which is stronger than death, is causing me to continue walking the path of the mission the Lord has given me (John 6:1–15). “At that very time some Pharisees came and said to Him, ‘Leave this place and go somewhere else. Herod wants to kill You.’ He replied, ‘Go tell that fox, “I will keep driving out demons and healing people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach My goal.” In any case, I must press on today and tomorrow and the next day—for surely no prophet can die outside Jerusalem! Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing. 모든 일을 성공적으로 잘 수행하게 하여 주시길 기원합니다.
기근이 더욱 심하여 온 땅에 양식이 없어 굶주림으로 쇠약해 가고 있었을 때 요셉은 이집트 사람들의 돈과 짐승과 토지를 받고 곡식을 팔았을 뿐만 아니라 그들을 노예로 삼고 양식을 공급했습니다. 그들은 기근에 시달리다 못해 하는 수 없이 자기들이 토지를 팔게 되었고 이집트 왕 바로의 종이 된 것입니다(창세기 47:14-25, 현대인의 성경). 총명하고 지혜로운 요셉은(41:33, 현대인의 성경) 모든 일을 성공적으로 수행해 나갔습니다(39:2, 현대인의 성경). 하나님께서 우리에게도 지혜와 총명을 주셔서 우리 삶 속에 여러모로 기근이 더욱 심하게 될 때에 모든 일을 성공적으로 잘 수행하게 하여 주시길 기원합니다.
