A. What Is Biblical Mission? “Biblical mission means more than simply going overseas to plant churches or spread civilization. It means the church participating in the ‘mission of God (Missio Dei)’ and seeking the restoration of God’s rule and glory throughout the whole earth. Mission is not a program that begins with human enthusiasm; rather, it is the heart of God that runs throughout the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, and is a fundamental reason for the church’s existence. 하나님을 경외하므로 악한 짓을 하며 죄를 범하지 않으려고 했던 요셉은 결국 유부녀의 유혹을 뿌리친 결과 억울하게 누명을 쓰고 감옥에 갇힌 바 되었습니다.  그러나 하나님께서는 요셉과 함께 하시고 그를 축복하셔서 간수장의 사랑을 받게 하셨습니다(창세기 39:9, 12, 20-21, 현대인의 성경).  주인 집에서 유부녀의 유혹적인 사랑을 받는 것보다 감옥에서 간수장의 사랑을 받는 것이 훨씬 더 낫습니다.
