하나님으로부터 거듭난 자의 삶의 증거는?
하나님으로부터 거듭난 자(born of God), 중생한 자, 새롭게 태어난 자, 새 피조물이 된 자의 삶의 증거(evidence)는 거듭나게 하신 하나님을 사랑하고, 하나님께서 거듭나게 하신 주님 안에서 형제, 자매를 사랑하는 것입니다(요한일서 5:1).
이 사도 요한의 요한일서 5장 1절 말씀은 예수님의 마태복음 22장 37,39절의 이중계명 말씀과 유사합니다. 한 마디로, 하나님으로부터 새롭게 태어난 자는 예수님의 이중계명(Jesus' twofold commandment)을 순종합니다.
