하나님의 아들이신 예수님을 믿는 자들은 영생이 있습니다.  영생이 있는 신앙인들은 예수님에게 순종합니다.  그들은 예수님의 이중계명인 " 마음을 다하고 목숨을 다하고 뜻을 다하여  너의 하나님을 사랑하라"와 " 이웃을 자신 같이 사랑하라" 말씀에 순종합니다( 3:36; 22:37, 39).
