하나님께서는 야곱의 시대에 애굽과 가나안 온 땅에 든 "흉년"으로 말미암은 먹을 것이 없을 정도로의 "큰 어려움"도 사용하셔서 야곱의 할아버지인 아브라함의 시대 때 약속하신 말씀대로 아브라함의 후손인 야곱과의 그의 열 두 아들들 및 후손들을
"외국 땅"인 애굽에서 "나그네가 되어 400년 동안 종살이하며 학대를 받"게 하셨습니다(사도행전 7:6, 11-14, 현대인의
성경). 하나님께서 저의 외증조 할아버지
목사님에게 약속하신 말씀을 저희 세대 뿐만 아니라 우리 자녀 대대 후손을 통해서라도 하나님의 때에 하나님의 방법으로 이루실 줄 믿습니다.
